Long Arm Toy Escape How to Beat the Sharks

The shark is a pit with teeth. Length and a held click beat it. Panic jumps do not.

How to Beat the Sharks

The thumbnail is the mechanic. Two red pillars, a bar on top, ocean, a shark that only matters if you fall. Players search “how to beat the shark” because the first outdoor gap looks like a boss. It is a reach check. This page is that check, written so you stop feeding the water and go back to Train! when the math says so.

Read controls if you still tap M1. Read the factory walkthrough for indoor rings. This article stays on water.

What the shark actually does

The shark is a kill volume under a gap you are supposed to span with both arms. It is not a chase AI you kite. You do not punch it. You do not jump on its nose. You hold both hands on the far bar until both feet are over the far pillar, then you release.

If your Long number cannot place both palms on that bar while you still stand on the near pillar, you will fall. That is not a bug. That is the incremental.

The five-second ritual

  1. Stop on the near pillar. Do not walk while aiming.
  2. Tilt the camera until both hands and the far bar share a frame.
  3. Hold M1 (desktop) or keep the drag (mobile — mobile guide).
  4. Drop both palms on the far bar. One hand is a sag into water.
  5. Pull the body across. Release only when both feet have floor.

Jumping toward the shark “to get closer” puts you in the kill volume faster. Closer is still water.

When to leave and train

If you cannot see the far bar under both palms before you step, leave. Ten minutes of Train! on Standard or Gold Bar is faster than twenty minutes of swimming. Check the rebirth multiplier while you are back in the lobby — a 1x file might be one prestige from making the same gap trivial. That decision belongs on training and rebirth, not on a pillar.

YouTubers who clear a gap in one second are not teaching a secret jump. They are on a later Long number, often with a 1.5x rebirth and sometimes a paid bar. Copy the hold, not the timer.

Outdoor bars versus indoor rings

Indoor gold rings use the same two-hand rule over a pit that may not have a shark mesh. Treat every pit as a shark. Moving or Steampunk-style bars need a moving aim; a frozen mouse on a spinning frame is a one-hand grab waiting to happen. Rank of the Steampunk Spinning Bar is a trainer choice, not a water pass.

Friends cannot grab for you. They can stand on the far pillar so you have a silhouette. They can raise Friend Boost so the next Train! session is faster after you wipe. They should not body-block the bar hitbox. Twenty-two avatars on one gap is how you click a stranger’s arm instead of the bar.

After you clear the first water

Teleport if the rail offers the room. Do not spend a code or a +10K dump mid-gap. Celebrate on wood. Then either run the next factory room or prestige if rate has died.

The shark will keep sitting under every outdoor pair of red pillars Long Armers ships. The countermeasure will stay the same: more Long, two hands, held click. Place id 74341114342499. Clone shark thumbnails are not this gap.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Can I kill the shark?

No. Span the gap. The shark is a fall penalty, not a fight.

Why do one-second videos work?

Those saves already have length and often a rebirth multiplier. Your 100 Long file cannot copy the timer.

Does Diamond Hands stop falls?

No. Hands are a shop slot. Reach still comes from Long. See gamepasses.

I keep falling with enough length.

You released early or landed one hand. Hold until both feet are on the far pillar. Controls.
